Your recruiter will provide the most up-to-date details during the hiring process.Responsibilities Ascension St John is looking for an APP for our cardiology team.This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to partner with Ascension St Johnto provide medical services to patients.Position Highlights:Strong, collegial teamExcellent benefitsMentorshipResponsibilities:In collaboration with a physician, provide for the expansion of individualized primary healthcare services by diagnosing and treating certain acute or chronic health conditions.Obtain patient history and perform assessment via observation, interview and examination. Order, perform and interpret diagnostic studies. Perform preventative health assessments, screening, immunizations and patient care.Provide direct treatment and management of health conditions via referral to other healthcare providers or community resources.Counsel and educate patients and their families/caregivers concerning preventative health, treatment options and community resources.Document delivery of health care and nursing processes in accordance with specific specialty area standards and network nursing policy.Requirements Licensure / Certification / Registration:BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.Nurse Practitioner with Prescriptive Authority credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. For incumbents working in Kansas-based facilities, licensure through the Kansas Board of Nursing will be required.Drug Enforcement Admin credentialed from the Drug Enforcement Administration preferred.Registered Nurse credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing preferred.Education:Master's degree of Nursing required.Additional Preferences No additional preferences#APP
