Job Description

As the Accounting Manager, you will guide a team of accounting professionals as you continuously drive greater efficiencies and lower costs. You will coordinate with company partners to handle the accumulation, recording, accuracy and control of accounting transactions and assist in the resolution of accounting issues!Your work will challenge you, and with our Core Values to guide you, you’ll quickly learn and grow with us.Responsibilities/Expectations:Coordinates workforce planning and career development activities for team membersHolds team accountable for performing all work in accordance with requirements, standards, policies, procedures and processesCoordinates efforts to ensure adequate financial accounting controls and integrity of our financial recordsCollaborates with others establish and maintain accounting policies, standards and processes in compliance with GAAP and accounting regulationsWorks with company partners to develop and handle financial analysis and reportingLeads sophisticated projectsHandles the property accounting function for the companyAssists with capital management activities and reportingSupports divestitures and property transactions related to depreciation valuation methods/asset impairment, including development and implementation of processes, procedures and policiesOther duties as assignedEducation/Years of Experience:Required: Bachelor's degree and minimum eight (8) years of multifaceted accounting experiencePreferred: Certified Public Accountant (CPA)Other Requirements:Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priorityProficiency in Microsoft Office Application and PC skillsPrevious experience leading or supervising a teamAbout Tulsa:Our corporate headquarters is located in downtown Tulsa, Oklahoma, the 2nd largest city in Oklahoma and the 47th most populous in the U.S. Tulsa is known as the Mother of "The Mother Road" - Route 66, and boasts impressive art deco architecture, the #1 city park in the U.S. (The Gathering Place) and is a great venue for live music.
