Job Description Job Description Job Title Physical Therapist (PT) Job Summary Travel Physical Therapist needed at HCA Florida Blake Hospital to provide evaluation, treatment, and discharge planning for patients. The role involves working in both the Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF) and acute care settings. The therapist will also participate in team conferences and family training, and will utilize adaptive devices and equipment. Key Responsibilities Evaluate patients' physical conditions and develop treatment plans. Provide therapeutic interventions to improve patients' mobility and function. Develop and implement discharge plans. Participate in team conferences and family training. Utilize adaptive devices and equipment in patient care. Document patient progress and outcomes. Work 1 weekend shift per month. Work holidays in rotation with Hospital employees. Required Qualifications Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in Florida. Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Willingness to work on IRF unit. Critical thinking and clinical reasoning skills. Preferred Qualifications Hospital/IRF experience (highly preferred). Stroke/neuro experience.
