INTAKE AND ADMISSIONS COORDINATOR - Full Time - Hybrid Child Outpatient GENERAL SUMMARY/ OVERVIEW STATEMENT: Performs a variety of duties to provide administrative support and coordination of assigned area/program. Intake and referral coordinator duties: Answers calls within a reasonable period of time Manage incoming referrals Managing wait list and offering Intakes to families Coordinate intake and scheduling patients for child outpatient. Coordinate standardized data collections for patients. Tracking and processing payments for the programs Sending and tracking program contracts and forms Administrative Duties Checking in patients for their appointments Provide coverage as needed for other Child administrative staff Identifies opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness of departmental activities Implements and monitors projects in collaboration with clinic manager and director Performs special projects as directed Contributes to effective interpersonal and community relations to promote the quality of patient care and to promote a positive image of McLean Hospital. Collaborates, as requested, with other departments of the hospital to meet identified needs. Contributes to the productivity and cost effectiveness of the department and hospital. Additional projects as needed.
