Enjoy local routes, daily home time, competitive pay, and a supportive culture built on safety and respect.Key ResponsibilitiesVehicle Operation/Delivery Safely operate company vehicles (up to 26’ trucks), including flatbeds, moffetts, cube vans, and boom trucks, in compliance with company and Transport Canada regulationsPerform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and roadworthinessDeliver building materials to job sites on time, unload and verify deliveries, and provide courteous, professional customer serviceInspect and secure truck loads before departure and ensure materials are properly staged per customer instructionsPossess basic knowledge of building materials, forklift operation, and delivery equipmentOperate forklift and other company vehicles and equipment as trained and instructedSafetyAdheres to all driving regulations based on state and/or jurisdiction policies such as wearing a seatbeltMaintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environmentFollow all safety protocols and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements to maintain a safe working environmentUse proper lifting techniquesWear appropriate personal protective equipment, safety shoes and clothingCommunication Communicate operational challenges and improvement ideas to the managerCollaborate with team members and assist in other areas as needed to support operational goalsMust attend and participate in all required meetings in relation to material delivery and overall companyTrainings Attend and participate in all required company training programsPhysical Job Requirements Frequent use of hands and arms for equipment operation, grasping and manipulationFrequent driving or sitting in a truck, forklift or other similar equipment for multiple hours a dayFrequent pushing, pulling, lifting or carrying building materials weighing approximately 100 pounds, using proper lifting procedures; and occasionally pushing, pulling, lifting or carrying greater weights. Pushing and pulling carts loaded carts over various distances and surfaces.
