Quality Inspector - HB1

Job Description + As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting visual and dimensional inspections for Receiving, First Article, In-Process, and Final Inspections on aviation parts, ranging from details to top assemblies. + While aerospace experience is not mandatory, it is strongly preferred. + The ideal candidate will have experience in QC inspections, using calipers and micrometers, and the ability to read blueprints. Responsibilities + Perform visual and dimensional inspections for Receiving, First Article, In-Process, and Final Inspections on aviation parts. + Understand and apply visual and cosmetic standards. + Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications. + Utilize measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, height gages, and indicators. + Write inspection reports and nonconformance reports. + Participate in understanding root causes and corrective actions. + Review supplier certifications for conformance to requirements. + Collect data for statistical analysis. + Interpret tolerances and geometrical and positional tolerance requirements. Essential Skills + Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications. + Proficiency in using measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, height gages, and indicators. + Capability to perform visual and dimensional inspections. + Experience in writing inspection and nonconformance reports. + Understanding of root cause analysis and corrective actions. + Knowledge of precision measuring instruments used in mechanical inspection. Additional Skills & Qualifications + High School Diploma is required. + Aerospace experience is preferred but not required. Additional Information: + 1st shift: 6:00am-2:30pm + Must be flexible to work a lot of Overtime. + They are working 10 hours Monday-Thursday, 8 hours on Friday, and 5 hours on Saturdays + Pay Range is $23-$26/hr. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Huntington Beach, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00/hr.
