NetImpact Strategies is seeking an experienced Microsoft Administrator II to manage and maintain the agency’s Microsoft-based IT infrastructure. You will oversee deployment, configuration, and support of Windows Server, Windows11, EntraID/ActiveDirectory, Exchange Online, Office365, SharePoint, Teams, Intune, and Azure. This role ensures secure, stable, and efficient operation through updates, disaster recovery, monitoring, and integration.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and maintain Microsoft-based IT infrastructure, including Windows Server, Windows 11, Entra ID, Active Directory, Intune, Exchange, and Office 365.Oversee the deployment, configuration, and migration of Microsoft technologies, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption.Perform regular updates, backups, and troubleshooting to maintain system stability, security, and performance.Administer and manage user roles, permissions, and access controls to ensure a secure IT environment.Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams and stakeholders to support OCIO initiatives and agency projects.Provide technical expertise to ensure Microsoft servers, endpoints, and services are effectively integrated into the agency’s IT strategy.Monitor system performance, proactively address issues, and maintain operational efficiency.Implement and enforce security policies and compliance standards aligned with customer baselines, directives, and regulatory requirements.Develop and maintain system configuration and procedural documentation for IT operations.Deliver technical support and guidance to end users and IT staff on Microsoft services and systems.Participate in disaster recovery planning, testing, and incident response to ensure business continuity.Manage software deployment and updates using SCCM, Intune, and related tools.Implement and maintain system monitoring solutions for proactive and reactive support.Support on-call schedules, patching cycles, and rotations to maintain continuous system availability.Configure and manage Microsoft 365 Conditional Access Policies to strengthen security posture.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field—or equivalent experience7+ years of experience in end-user systems support, automated server builds, cloud-based, and data center deploymentsDemonstrated engineering, migration, troubleshooting, and support experience with EntraID, ActiveDirectory, Exchange Online, Office365, SharePoint, Teams, and AzureStrong technical acumen in backup/recovery, system monitoring, and performance managementExcellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skillsPreferred QualificationsMicrosoft certifications (e.g., MCSA, MS Certified Solutions Associate, Microsoft365 Certified: Administrator Expert)Experience with SCCM, Intune, Azure Conditional Access, and enterprise monitoring toolsFamiliarity with disaster recovery processes and compliance frameworksPublic sector or federal agency IT experiencePerks of working at NetImpact StrategiesYour health comes first - we offer comprehensive medical, dental, & vision insurance that starts the first of the month after you join the teamInvest in your future - 401(k) Plan - Immediately vested employer contributions; no matching requiredWork hard, play hard - we offer a generous Paid Time Off (PTO) policy, one (1) additional day of paid wellness leave per calendar year, and observeten (10) federal holidaysPawsitively pawesome - Pet Insurance (because our little critters are part of our families, too!)Invest in your education - Tuition reimbursement, internal training programs, & company-sponsored industry certifications!Be part of a dynamic and collaborative work environment recently ranked by The Washington Post as a Top Work Place in 2019, 2021,2022, 2023, & 2024!Have fun and celebrate and give back - Team building activities, community volunteering, quarterly HQ days, wellness events, happy hours, family fun events, and more!ABOUT USNetImpact Strategies Inc.
