The UnityPoint Clinic team is known for excellence and quality patient care putting patients at the center of their care to provide the best level of health and well-being.Outpatient only practice 1.0 FTE with 4 1/2 day work weekCohesive group of colleagues and supportive staff allowing for autonomyExperienced staff, both clinical and non-clinical, who know the patients and the communityEPIC EMRAverage of 18-22 patients per day; no nights or weekendsNo inpatient responsibilitiesHospitalist Program is responsible for serving adult and pediatric inpatientsTelephonic outpatient call only, no need to physically report to clinic/hospitalCall shared equitably by primary care providersCalls are triaged through My Nurse Call Center, very minimal call volumeAbility to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serveEstablished clinic with a large team to provide supportGeneral family medicine procedures such as joint injections, skin excisions, lacerations, casting, etc.Evaluates, interprets, and coordinates information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient carePatient-focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environmentExcellent communication (written and verbal), analytical, and problem-solving skillsMD or DO Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family MedicineAbility to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in the state of Iowa Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribeand administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the physician's field of practiceEligible to work in the United States (H1-B exempt)
