Electrical Engineer

Job Title: Electrical Engineer Job Description The Electrical Engineer will play a pivotal role in hardware integration, supporting covert surveillance systems. The position offers both level 3 and level 4 openings, where you will utilize Cadence OrCAD / Allegro for development and collaborate closely with other engineering disciplines to support hardware packaging. Additionally, the role includes conducting DFX reviews, driving hardware design strategy, and supporting R&D efforts. Responsibilities + Perform hardware integration for covert surveillance systems. + Utilize Cadence OrCAD / Allegro for hardware development. + Collaborate with other engineering disciplines for hardware packaging. + Conduct DFX reviews and drive hardware design strategy. + Support research and development efforts. Essential Skills + Hardware integration expertise. + Proficiency in electrical design. + Experience with Cadence OrCAD / Allegro. + Knowledge of battery systems, schematic, and control electronics. + Understanding of power supplies. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE). + 5+ years of experience in a related field. + Familiarity with PCB design tools, including Cadence (OrCAD / Allegro) or Altium. + RF knowledge is required for the Level 4 opening. + Mechanical packaging skills. + ITAR compliant (US Person).ufeff Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Santa Ana, CA.
