Job Title: Scientist IIJob Description We are seeking a dedicated Scientist II to perform cGMP cell-based potency assays testing in support of the manufacture of biologics products. This role entails generating, compiling, and evaluating data for technical reports to support both commercial and clinical supplies. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining laboratory documentation, ensuring data integrity, and supporting regulatory inspections. Responsibilities + Perform cGMP cell-based potency assays testing. + Generate, compile, and evaluate data for technical reports. + Review and approve raw data and laboratory logbooks/worksheets. + Perform cell culture and cell banking. + Manage critical reagents and supplies. + Write quality systems records including laboratory investigations, change controls, non-conformances. + Support regulatory inspections as needed. + Ensure proper use and maintenance of lab equipment, supporting equipment validation and preventive maintenance. + Generate and update standard operating procedures (SOPs). + Adhere to and support all Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) standards, procedures, and policies. + Understand regulations and business processes to maintain laboratory data integrity. Essential Skills + Experience in a GMP regulated environment. + Experience in bioassays, Chemi-ECL ELISA, PCR and automation. + Experience with aseptic cell culture and cell banking. + Proficiency in quality systems. + Ability to perform laboratory investigations, change controls, and manage non-conformances. Additional Skills & Qualifications + MS in Chemistry/Biochemistry/Cell Biology or a related Biological Science field with 3+ years of relevant industrial experience. + BS in Chemistry/Biochemistry/Cell Biology or a related Biological Science field with 5+ years of relevant industrial experience. + Proficiency in Microsoft Project and Excel. Work Environment This is a 100% onsite role requiring full compliance with all governmental and legislative requirements. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Irvine, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $43.00 - $46.00/hr.
