Description: You will be the Research Scientist Sr for the Signature Integration Team for Supportable Low Observables (SLO) which is responsible for advancing lowu2011observable capabilities across the Fu201135 and Fu201122 programs. What You Will Be Doing As the Research Scientist Sr you will be responsible for leading the integration of signatureu2011management solutions that keep our aircraft stealthu2011ready and missionu2011effective. Your responsibilities will include: + Conduct technical reviews of modification documentation, including Change Requests, Initial Retrofit Plans, and Time Compliance Technical Directives. + Provide lowu2011observable (LO) removal and restoration guidance and technical support to maintainers. + Plan, execute, postu2011process, and communicate results of laboratory, field, depot, flight, and vehicle signature measurements. + Deliver LO technical support for validation and verification of modifications. + Coordinate LO technical support for site surveys and standu2011up events. Who You Are You are a collaborative technical leader with proven expertise in lowu2011observable signature management. You excel at communicating complex concepts clearly, both in writing and verbally, and you thrive in crossu2011functional environments. Your background includes handsu2011on experience with RCS measurement equipment, customer interaction, and delivering technically sound proposals and estimates. You are motivated by challenging problems and eager to drive continuous improvement in stealth technologies. Basic Qualifications: u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree or above in one of the following fields: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics or another technical degree program Desired Skills: u2022 Experienced with Radar Measurement Technology u2022 F-35 LO maintenance/troubleshooting experience u2022 F-22 LO maintenance/troubleshooting experience u2022 Proven experience interfacing with diverse teams of contractors, military customers, and depot management u2022 Experience with Repair Verification Radar (RVR) or other zonal RCS equipment u2022 F-35 engineering and logistics systems experience (JDL - JSF Data Library, PDM - Product Data Manager, QAD u2013 Quality Assurance Document, ATLAS - Advanced Technical Logistics Applications System, VAS - Visual Augmentation System, SFM - Shop Floor Manager.) u2022 Familiarity with F-35 and/ or F-22 airframe design and coating materials and methods, aircraft systems and subsystems. u2022 Prior military service at multiple levels of fighter aircraft maintenance, logistics, and support preferred. u2022 Project management experience with strong organizational and communication skills. u2022 Strong communication skills (written and oral), with a willingness to engage with subject matter experts in a variety of different functional organizations. u2022 Previous experience in low observables (LO), survivability, or susceptibility u2022 Experience in radar cross section (RCS) design, Low Observable (LO) materials and processes u2022 Experienced in the application of aircraft spray material to include paint and/or LO material u2022 Project or program management, and execution of signature technology u2022 Ability to operate autonomously with minimal direction from management u2022 Proven experience interfacing with diverse teams of contractors, military customers, and depot management Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
