Accounts Payable Analyst

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Analyst to join our team in Tampa, Florida. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and reconciliations while supporting the corporate accounting department. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service. Responsibilities: u2022 Review, reconcile, and process vendor invoices, statements, and account currents to ensure timely payments. u2022 Handle payment processing, including checks, wire transfers, and electronic transactions, on a weekly basis. u2022 Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies by coordinating with branches and carriers. u2022 Monitor and collect outstanding debits from carriers while maintaining accurate records. u2022 Assist with month-end close processes and financial reconciliations. u2022 Collaborate with the team to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions. u2022 Deliver excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and providing prompt resolutions. This is a permanent opportunity that will pay up to $65,000 depending upon experience.
