The West Palm Beach VA Healthcare System seeks an Chief of Hematology-Oncology who will provides strategic, clinical, administrative, and academic leadership for all Hematology and Oncology services within the medical center. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based, Veteran-centered care while maintaining compliance. Responsibilities This is an OPEN CONTINUOUS ANNOUNCEMENT. Leads quality assurance and patient safety initiatives, monitors outcomes Ensures compliance with accreditation and VA performance standards. Supports education and training programs. Promotes research and scholarly activity and ensures compliance with research policies. Supervises physicians and advanced practice providers Supports recruitment and performance management and fosters professional development. Represents the service on committees and collaborates with leadership and VISN partners. Expert clinical knowledge, leadership skills, regulatory knowledge, and data-driven decision-making ability. Operate independently under the Chief of Medicine with supervisory authority over service staff. Clinical and administrative settings with possible extended hours and on-call duties.
