FPGA Engineer

Job Description An employer is seeking a FPGA Engineer for a long-term opportunity in the Mason, OH area. This FPGA Engineer will be expected to work on site on a 9-80 schedule and participate in FPGA developments including requirements, system design, detailed design, and hardware integration on cutting-edge systems. The diverse product portfolio provides opportunities to work on ultra-high speed, ultra-large format infrared cameras, launch vehicle avionics, and orbital vehicle communications. The main responsibilities of the FPGA engineer will be a focus on product development for design, implementation, verification, and integration of VHDL components as well as participating in VHDL peer reviews. This is a cross functional role and communication with both internal and external customers will be required in addition to the analysis of component synthesis, timing, and clock domain crossings. The main deliverables will come in the form of internal design reviews, project management and technical estimating. Experience in Agile Scrum development methods is a plus.
