Responsibilities: u2022 Process a high volume of invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payment. u2022 Verify and code invoices in alignment with company guidelines. u2022 Manage Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions and check runs efficiently. u2022 Reconcile payment discrepancies and resolve issues promptly. u2022 Maintain detailed records of all accounts payable activities for auditing purposes. u2022 Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to address payment inquiries. u2022 Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies. u2022 Assist with general accounting tasks as needed to support the finance department. u2022 Generate reports related to payment processing and accounts payable. u2022 Contribute to process improvements to optimize accounts payable procedures. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in accounts payable or a related accounting role. u2022 Strong knowledge of invoice coding and payment processing. u2022 Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions and check runs. u2022 Proficiency in general accounting principles and practices. u2022 Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. u2022 Ability to resolve discrepancies and work well under deadlines. u2022 Effective communication skills to interact with vendors and team members. u2022 Competence in using accounting software and financial systems.
