Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Clerk to join our team in Petersburg, Virginia. This part-time, onsite position is contract-to-permanent and plays a crucial role in supporting payroll operations for a manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will handle payroll processing, employee recruitment, and benefits administration with precision and professionalism. Responsibilities: u2022 Process payroll for a workforce of 50-60 employees with accuracy and efficiency. u2022 Handle full-cycle payroll responsibilities, including garnishments and deductions. u2022 Manage employee benefits administration, ensuring compliance with company policies. u2022 Support corporate recruiting efforts by sourcing and screening candidates. u2022 Maintain payroll records and ensure all documentation is up-to-date and accurate. u2022 Prepare and process W-9 forms and other tax-related documents. u2022 Collaborate with team members to address payroll-related inquiries and issues. u2022 Utilize ADP payroll systems to ensure smooth processing and reporting. u2022 Ensure all payroll activities comply with legal and regulatory standards. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in payroll processing, including full-cycle payroll management. u2022 Knowledge of payroll garnishments and tax documentation such as W-9 forms. u2022 Familiarity with ADP payroll systems and other relevant software. u2022 Strong understanding of benefits administration and compliance requirements. u2022 Experience in corporate recruiting within a manufacturing or similar industry. u2022 Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. u2022 Ability to work onsite in Petersburg, Virginia. u2022 Effective communication skills to liaise with employees and management.
