Job Title: Associate Quality AssuranceJob Description The Associate Quality Assurance role is a fully onsite position based in Holly Springs, NC, requiring candidates to be local to the area. The position supports the inspection, sampling, and testing of raw materials received at the facility to ensure compliance with specification requirements and master inspection characteristics for use in cGMP manufacturing plants. The role includes leadership responsibilities in scheduling coordination and staff training, with opportunities for advancing quality learning through additional responsibilities and training. Responsibilities + Inspect materials including biobags, tubing, filters, and other components to ensure compliance with inspection-related specification requirements and master inspection characteristics. + Remove samples from containers of media and other chemicals for sample testing. + Utilize RAMAN technology with TruScan equipment to identify chemicals. + Ensure inspection sampling results are complete and detailed according to written procedures and cGMP requirements. + Accurately document inspection sample and test results in the company's systems. + Assess characteristics that could potentially impact product quality according to procedures. + Determine if the color of components matches required attributes. + Support inspection readiness activities. + Participate in Continual Improvement initiatives, programs, and projects. + Assist area management with task prioritization and scheduling. + Serve as a trainer for tasks related to raw material inspections, samples, and testing. + Manage controlled documents for the area, including SOPs and FORMs. + Initiate and own deviation records and CAPAs associated with events and projects in raw material inspections samples and testing areas. + Provide QA oversight to the Warehouse, ensuring adherence to GMP regulations. Essential Skills + Understanding of GMP. + Experience with Raman technology. + Quality Assurance experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Ability to lift more than 50 lbs. + High school diploma or GED with 2 years of work experience, or an Associate's degree with 6 months of work experience, or a Bachelor's degree. Work Environment The role requires working onsite five days a week, starting at 8 AM or earlier. The environment involves inspecting single-use components, raw material sampling, and batch record review. The individual must be capable of lifting more than 50 lbs and adhere to GMP regulations. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Holly Springs, NC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
