Description We are looking for an experienced Real Estate Attorney to join our team in Chicago, Illinois. This long-term contract position is ideal for someone with extensive legal expertise in real estate transactions and civil litigation who is detail oriented. The role requires a proactive individual who can effectively handle complex matters, provide strategic advice, and ensure compliance with legal standards. Responsibilities: u2022 Draft, review, and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, lease contracts, loan documents, and other related transactional documents. u2022 Conduct and oversee corporate document reviews and due diligence processes for real estate transactions. u2022 Provide strategic guidance on deal structures, risk mitigation, and acquisition or disposition strategies. u2022 Manage depositions and other legal proceedings related to real estate litigation. u2022 Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to address legal concerns and ensure smooth transaction processes. u2022 Analyze and interpret commercial real estate laws to ensure compliance and protect client interests. u2022 Handle acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing matters with attention to detail and legal precision. u2022 Develop and present legal briefs, motions, and discovery documents for litigation purposes. u2022 Ensure proper documentation and legal accuracy in all real estate deals. u2022 Advise clients on complex legal issues related to corporate and private real estate matters.
