Hiring for Fiber Optic Cable Asemblers in Hudson Wisconsin M - Th 5am - 3:30pm $22 M - Th 3pm - 1:30am $23.76 Job Description As an assembler, you will work with fiber cables by measuring, cutting, and placing them into clips. Following detailed blueprints or enlarged work instructions, you will meticulously feed each colored wire through a connector, ensuring perfect accuracy. Once all wires are properly connected, you will apply a small drop of epoxy and pull the wires through to coat them entirely. Subsequently, the assembly will be placed into a curing device that dries the epoxy, followed by a final polishing stage, and thorough testing to ensure all connections are functioning correctly. Small hand tools, microscopes, or projection scopes will be utilized as needed to complete the assemblies. Responsibilities + Measure, cut, and place fiber cables into clips. + Follow blueprints or work instructions to connect colored wires. + Apply epoxy and cure the assembly in a drying device. + Conduct polishing and testing to ensure proper connections. + Utilize small hand tools and microscopes for assembly tasks. Essential Skills + 6 months to 1+ year of manufacturing experience with small parts or medical device assembly. + Strong written and verbal communication skills. + Ability to accurately place wires based on color recognition. + Experience using microscopes or capability to work under one.
