Northrop Grumman Defense Systems (NGDS) is seeking a Program Manager 1 to become part of the Program Management team a Warner Robins, GA location. This position will be responsible for all phases of the ALQ-161 Hardware Program from inception through completion. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for: Building a collaborative relationship between the program office and functional areas. Program performance includes: P&L, schedule performance, customer relationships, and forecasting. What You'll Get to Do: As a Systems and Software Solution ALQ-161 Hardware Program Manager, you will be responsible for managing all phases of the life cycle from inception (proposal development) through startup, execution, and completion (contract closeout). The ALQ-161 Hardware Program portfolio comprises repairs, spares, production and DMS activities. Job Responsibilities u2022 Responsible for the cost, schedule, technical performance and customer satisfaction of the ALQ-161 Hardware Programs. u2022 Develops new business or expands the product line with the customer. u2022 Coordinates the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets a financial terms/conditions of the ALQ-161 Hardware contracts. u2022 Participates in the negotiation of contract and contract changes. u2022 Accountable for programmatic and financial commitments (Awards, Sales, Profit and Cash). u2022 Leads Programmatic and Financials Risk and Opportunities Management to achieve Financial Targets. u2022 Acts as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance. u2022 Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications. u2022 Manages, monitors and reports
