Principal Data Center Scheduler Facilities Development Manager at Oracle in Boise, Idaho, United States Job Description Job Description Join Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) as a Principal Scheduler - Data Center Infrastructure The Data Center Infrastructure team at OCI delivers state-of-the-art GigaScale data centers at an unprecedented pace. Made up of seasoned project and program managers, we partner across internal teams and external providers to execute complex builds; powering OCI’s capacity growth and long-term success. About the Role: As a Principal Scheduler - Data Center Infrastructure , you will own the integrated master schedule for OCI data center capacity, from project charter kickoff through GPU handover. As the schedule integrator in a matrixed organization, you’ll drive milestone alignment, manage the critical path, quantify schedule risk, and enable predictable, repeatable delivery to support OCI region launches, capacity expansion, and long-range roadmap commitments. You’ll partner closely with Site Acquisition, WAN, Energy, Design, Engineering, Construction, Telecommunications, Commissioning, Security, and Operations. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities + Own and maintain the end-to-end integrated master schedule across multiple concurrent data center projects/programs. + Establish and govern standard scheduling methodology (WBS structure, activity coding, calendar standards, baseline/change control). + Drive critical path and near-critical path visibility; lead recovery planning and schedule optimization. + Produce schedule performance reporting (milestone health, look-aheads, variance analysis, trend analysis, forecasts). + Lead schedule-focused risk identification and mitigation , including scenario planning and what-if analysis. + Coordinate schedule interfaces across functions: Site Acquisition, Design/Engineering, Construction, Telecom, Commissioning, Security, WAN, Energy, Operations , and vendor partners. + Facilitate schedule governance forums (e.g., weekly/monthly reviews), ensuring clear actions, owners, and closure.
