Job Summary Supports overall coordination and management of transportation functions for a YMCA Youth Development, while supporting the daily administrative and registration functions of one or more branch programs. We have an awesome opportunity for the essential position of Full Time Program Manager. In this role, you will provide administrative support to a branch or department. You will be a key player in executing work and implementing office workflow. Hiring Range: $26.70 - $30.37/hr DOE What you'll get from working at The Y: + Individual membership to the YMCA of Greater Seattle + Free access to mental health resources + Rapidly accruing paid time off (PTO) available immediately upon hire + Discounts on qualifying YMCA of Greater Seattle childcare, day camp, overnight camp, and outdoor leadership programs: 25% for part-time staff, 50% for full-time staff Responsibilities + Support development and management of detailed plans for field trips, including setting itineraries, identifying destinations, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and safety guidelines. + Coordinate the reservation of buses, ferries, and other transportation modes, ensuring timely bookings and optimal routes for all field trips. + Create and maintain comprehensive schedules for all trips, communicating key details to participants, instructors, and transportation providers to ensure smooth operations. + Provide on-site support for participant check-ins, ensuring attendance records are accurate and offering assistance with any logistical or safety issues. + Monitor and track any changes to summer participant transportation arrangements, including location changes, cancellations, and adjust arrangements accordingly. + Serve as the primary point of contact for transportation vendors, negotiating contracts, coordinating services, and resolving any issues or disputes that may arise. + Maintain detailed records of all logistics, including transportation bookings, participant attendance, and incident reports, and generate summary reports for internal review and analysis. + Manage schedules and scheduled maintenance for the entire fleet of YGS mini-buses + Support daily registration support for Youth Development programs as needed. + Other duties as assigned POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK This is a full-time, hourly position, and hours of work and days are typically Monday through Thursday. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. WORK ENVIRONMENT This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment. Qualifications + Bacheloru2019s degree in relevant program or equivalent education or experience. Other applicable education, training, and experience, which provide the knowledge, abilities, and skills necessary to perform effectively in the position will be considered. + One year or more of related experience, with proven experience in customer service. + Intermediate computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office suite. + Ability to visit sites and move YMCA fleet vehicles between locations. This position requires driving This role transports clients as an u201cauthorized driveru201d for the YMCA of Greater Seattle (YGS) using an employer-provided vehicle. Driving duties for this role are Required. Driving roles are safety-sensitive. To become an authorized driver, you must be 21+, have possessed a driver's license for at least 3 years, and pass a drug screen that will test for impairing substances (including marijuana) in addition to meeting the YGS Driving Record Standards listed in the job description.
