As a Sr Advanced Quality Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of quality for our products and processes. You will lead and drive advanced quality engineering activities, implementing robust quality control measures and driving continuous improvement initiatives. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and customer expectations. In this role, you will have a significant impact on the overall quality and reliability of our products. You will be responsible for implementing advanced quality control processes, conducting root cause analysis, and driving corrective actions to improve product quality. Your expertise in quality engineering methodologies and tools will be instrumental in driving continuous improvement and ensuring customer satisfaction. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES u2022 Ensure compliance with internal and external quality standards from Honeywell and its customers u2022 Own, conduct, and support audits to assess internal and external capabilities and identify areas for improvement u2022 Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions to address quality issues and prevent recurrence u2022 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process conformance and continuous improvements for quality issues u2022 Monitor quality metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement u2022 Build a strong relationship with Customers, Suppliers, Engineering, and Operations, and Business Functions. u2022 Compile reporting data to provide an overhaul scorecard of quarterly metrics for presentation to Sr. Leadership. u2022 Ensures activities and items are in compliance with Honeywell quality assurance standards applicable government regulations and customersu2019 requirements. u2022 Performs internal audits of processes and functions to assure continued compliance to international standards, requirements, and applicable government regulations. u2022 Additional requirements as necessary. YOU MUST HAVE u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree from an accredited institution u2022 5 or more years of experience in the manufacturing industry, demonstrating your understanding of the unique quality challenges in this sector u2022 3 or more years experience operating under a 3rd party certified Quality Management System i.e. AS9100/ISO9001 u2022 Advanced knowledge of quality control methodologies, tools, and techniques. u2022 Advanced collaboration and teamwork skills. u2022 A proven track record in Engineering and Manufacturing u2022 Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities u2022 Effective communication and interpersonal skills WE VALUE u2022 Masteru2019s degree preferred. u2022 Certification in project management, such as PMP (Project Management Professional). u2022 Additional certifications in quality management, such as Six Sigma Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), or Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE) from ASQ. u2022 Proficiency in advanced quality tools and methodologies, such as Design of Experiments (DOE), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and Statistical Process Control (SPC). u2022 Proficiency in change management methodologies. u2022 Internal Auditor Certification The annual base salary range for this position is $110,000 - $135,000.
