Job Title: Systems Analyst II Revision: 0002 Job Code: 703654 Shift: Onsite 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. FLSA: Exempt Dept.: Information Systems Hybrid or Remote? N Business Unit: BioBridge Global CPF Level: P3 General Summary Analyze science, engineering, business, and other data processing problems to implement and improve computer systems. Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations. May analyze or recommend commercially available software and assist in system integrations. Support, communicate and reinforce the mission and vision of the enterprise. Provide world class customer service by capturing and being responsive to the voice of the customer (internal or external, including donors for select positions) through multiple feedback channels in order to resolve issues and drive satisfaction in accordance with the BBG customer engagement, feedback, and complaint processes. It is essential that the incumbent have a valid driver's license and be at least 18 years old with a good driving record to meet organization driving standards. Major Duties and Responsibilities Essential Tasks Review, analyze, and evaluate application technologies to meet business stakeholder needs. Participates in the ongoing maintenance of system applications, required security profiles, tables, and databases. Familiarity with relational databases and SQL queries to assist in troubleshooting large enterprise type systems. Manage technology roadmaps for responsible information management applications. Document changes to the systems using change management best practices. Maintain and manage a highly secure system through proper configuration and system access monitoring. Maintain a detailed understanding of upcoming changes to the platforms to assist with user change management. Assist with information technology validations on software applications prior to production release. Ensure service delivery meets the business requirements (based on defined SLAs). Deliver a consistent process for incident and problem escalation along with resolution in line with the sourcing governance framework. Collaborate with other IT staff, including networking, security, and data center operation teams, to facilitate effective issue resolution. Train more junior members in technologies and functions. Performs other duties as assigned. Non-Essential Tasks May perform duties as designated by management team as needed or in the event of his/her absence. Education Requires a high school diploma or general equivalency diploma. A bacheloru2019s degree, preferably in Information Systems or Computer Science, from an accredited four-year college or university is strongly preferred. Licenses and/or Certifications Valid United States Driveru2019s License Experience Requires three or more years of experience in creating technical documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Requires three or more years of experience writing SQL queries. Requires three or more years of experience administering Information Systems, preferably in life sciences; with experience in, user interface development, workflow process development, and application integrations. Requires experience in managing lifecycle documentation including Validation Plans, Testing Protocols (IQ/OQ/PQ), user acceptance testing, Validation Reports, SOPs, and Change Control documentation. Experience with reporting tools is preferred. Knowledge Knowledge of information technology service management concepts and methodologies, business process analysis and reengineering, and project management processes and methodologies. Must have knowledge of system design and development processes and methodologies such as the SDLC. Skills Must have excellent analytical/critical thinking skills. Must have excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. Must possess strong organizational, customer service, and troubleshooting skills. Must be capable of facilitating department project meetings and communicate effectively with internal customers throughout the organization. Must be capable of effectively working with individuals at all position levels in the organization to identify, understand, and communicate their business requirements. Must have excellent written and oral communication, interpersonal and presentation skills. Must be capable of operating motor vehicles in all types of weather conditions. Abilities Must be a self-starter and self-directed worker. Must be able to keep information confidential. Must be neat in appearance and well groomed. Must be professional, detail oriented, self-motivated, innovative, creative, assertive, organized, communicative, and able to work independently. Must have a strong ability to analyze data using Excel for reporting and data mining purposes. Working Environment Works in a well-lighted, airconditioned and heated office. May be exposed to electrical and chemical hazards and other conditions common to an office environment. May be exposed to blood borne pathogens and other conditions common to a full-service blood and tissue center. May be required to work at any time of the day, evening or night during the week or weekend. Ability to use personal motor vehicle for company business required. Occupational Exposure Assignment - Category II Physical Requirements Must be able to drive on behalf of the organization. Will sit, stand, walk, and bend during working hours. Requires ability to reach, lift and carry up to 20 lbs. Requires manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination. Requires normal or corrected vision and hearing corrected to a normal range.
