(All expenses paid)u00a0Field work often involvesemergency or unscheduled tasks, and hours may vary based on project demands.u00a0Overtime or doubletime may be available during field assignments, in line with company policy and applicable wage laws.u00a0A20% fieldwork premiumapplies when working at remote job sites.u00a0When not in the field, you will work in theshopto ensure consistent employment in between assignments (Permanent Role, not Contract Work)u00a0WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITIONu00a0Perform advanced6G aluminum weldingin the field, ensuring highquality workmanship that meets ASTM and ANSI/AWS standards.u00a0Coordinate tools, materials, and equipment for the jobsite to keep projects running smoothly and on schedule.u00a0Work closely with customers and subcontractors on-site,representingour company with professionalism andstrong communication.u00a0Complete required safety processes, including Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) prior to any work.u00a0Conduct welding inspections, repairs, and troubleshooting based on company procedures and project needs.u00a0Provide the project manager with daily updates on progress, challenges, and any changes that mayimpactscope or timeline.u00a0Help manage project costs bysubmittingaccuratefield documentation, receipts, and reports on time.u00a0When not assigned to field work, perform welding and fabrication tasks in the shop tomaintainsteady hours and continuous employment.u00a0YOU HAVEu00a0Demonstrated experience as a6G aluminum welderin construction or industrial environments.u00a0Ability to read and interpret blueprints, tape measurements, and fabrication drawings.u00a0Priorleadership, crew coordination, or field supervision experience (preferred).u00a0The ability to work hours based on businessneeds,not guaranteed to follow a standard schedule.u00a0AWS 6G MIG aluminum welding certification(preferred)u00a0Willingness toparticipatein OSHA 30 training(required)u00a0Forklift/manlift operator training certificationu00a0Avalid driver's licensewitha good drivingrecord(required)u00a0Willingness and ability totravel 75% of the time, often to remote power plants and industrialjob sites.u00a0Ability to use basic technology and software, including Tablets, laptops, and Microsoft Office Products.u00a0Physical ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions; stand, walk, kneel, climb, andliftto 50lbs.regularly.u00a0Strong focus on safety, quality, and communication with customers, subcontractors, and internal teams.u00a0WE HAVE:u00a0A ynamic global reach with diverse operations around the world that will stretch your abilities, provide plentiful career opportunities, and allow you to make an impact every dayu00a0nVent is a leading global provider of electrical connection and protection solutions.
