This Opportunity is for a Laborer with a work location in Corinth, MS. JMF employees are capable of performing a variety of tasks regardless of the job/location. All positions require someone who is an independent worker and who takes written and verbal instructions well through job completion and communicates needs appropriately. JMF employees prioritize safety for themselves, their employer, and their job site and is knowledgeable of the safety requirements for the task at hand. JMF employees take pride in their work, completing tasks to required specifications, inspecting and verifying work through to completion. Major Duties and Responsibilities: - Perform duties according to instructions as required by the specific job or job-site. - Work and coordinate with various contractors and trades to resolve coordination conflicts in the field - Material handling - Use of manual and general power tools - Follow all safety methods and standards to maintain a safe work setting - Perform housekeeping and job site work cleanup: clean up the work area before leaving the job site - Clock in/out from the assigned job site at start/end of shift and for lunch breaks Qualifications: - High School Diploma / GED - Experience with power tools, general construction - Special skillset (experience as construction painter, concrete work, welding, general carpentry or electrical, etc.) experience is a plus - Valid Driver's license - Pass background check and drug screening Key Competencies: - Reliable (reports to work on time and as scheduled) - Independent, self-motivated worker, but works well with a team - Reading work instructions and job site postings - Using measuring tools Physical Requirements: - Walking, Standing, Kneeling, Reaching - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs - Use of manual and power tools Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
