Description: What We're Doing Rotary and Mission Systems' Training, Logistics and Simulation (TLS) business is Lockheed Martinu2019s center of excellence for training and logistics products and services, serving the U.S. military and more than 65 international customers around the world. Based in Orlando, TLS develops programs that teach service men and women skills to accomplish their most challenging missions u2014 flying the worldu2019s most advanced fighter aircraft, navigating ships and driving armored vehicles. TLS is the corporationu2019s hub for simulation, X reality, live-virtual-constructive capabilities, advanced training devices and full-service training programs. TLS also provides sustainment services such as supply chain and logistics IT solutions, spares and repairs, as well as automated test and support equipment. THE WORK This is a position for a Software Engineering Lead on F35 Pilot Training Devices (PTD). As a Staff Software Engineer for the PTD team, you will: u2022 Be accountable for the overall Software engineering related tasks associated with the program. u2022 Act as the delegate to the Lead Software Engineer for the Software Engineering activities u2022 Ensure that the program's Software Engineering processes/procedures and other required process assets are defined and followed u2022 Address staffing, resource, and infrastructure needs for Software Engineering u2022 Be responsible for Software Engineering cost, schedule, and technical performance at the product level u2022 Guide program development of the Software Engineering portion of program's multi-functional resource/schedule estimates u2022 Be responsible for the development of Software Architecture u2022 Champion continuous improvement activities for the SW Engineering discipline and adopt 1LMX techniques and approaches This position will require the selected candidate to have or obtain an Interim Secret level U.S. government security clearance before starting with Lockheed Martin. U.S. citizenship is a requirement for consideration. Basic Qualifications: u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree (or higher) in Mechanical/Electrical/Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field. u2022 Formal coursework or certification in Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) is a strong plus. u2022 u22655years of hands on experience designing, developing, or maintaining complex systems/products using Model Based Engineering approaches. u2022 Proven track record of using Cameo Systems Modeler / CameoEnterprise Architecture in real world projects (e.g., aerospace, defense, automotive, or complex electronics). u2022 Deep knowledge of SysML (requirements, behavior, structure, parametric diagrams) and its application within Cameo. u2022 Proficiency in creating and managing model libraries, profiles, and extensions in Cameo. u2022 Experience with model transformation, validation, and verification (e.g., OCL, Model Based Test Generation). u2022 Ability to integrate Cameo models with downstream tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink, DOORS, PLM, CI/CD pipelines). u2022 Familiarity with model version control (Git, Subversion) and collaborative modeling workflows. u2022 Familiarity with industry standards such as INCOSE MBSE Guide, OMG SysML, ARP 4761, DO 178C/DO 254 (as applicable). u2022 Understanding of configuration management, verification & validation (V&V) processes, and CMMI/ISO quality frameworks. u2022 Ability to obtain or maintain required security clearances for classified or sensitive projects (e.g., DoD, ITAR). Desired Skills: u2022 Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, such as Math, Physics, Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering or other engineering disciplines u2022 Familiarity with software development utilizing Agile processes and common technology stacks u2022 Experience with DevOps tools, including Ansible and GitLab u2022 Prove experience implementing improvements across IPTs u2022 Experience with proposals and writing/submitting Basis of Estimates (BOEs) u2022 Experience with infrastructure automation with proficiency with ansible, gitlab, and nexus u2022 Experience writing Ansible Playbooks to manage configurations and baselines u2022 Security+ is a strong desire, Linux+ desired u2022 Strong knowledge and experience with scripting including Windows(Powershell)/Linux(shell scripting) u2022 Experienced Windows Domain/Active Directory Administrator Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
