Description: This position is with Lockheed Martin Government Affairs in Huntsville, AL, supporting corporate initiatives related to the U.S. Army Integrated Air & Missile Defense portfolio seeking the long-term growth of Lockheed Martin. u00b7 As a core member of the LMGA Integrated Air & Missile Defense team, responsible for Army and Joint Programs in support of various LM Business Areas u00b7 Advisor to LMGA Army/SOF Vice Presidents and Business Areas executives on Army Integrated Air & Missile Defense matters, customer relationships, local and organizational sensitivities, and strategic direction for Army and Joint programs u00b7 As assigned, develop and implement an annual marketing plan and campaign plans for LMGA Army/SOF Integrated Air & Missile Defense programs u00b7 Ensure LM provides a coordinated message on all Army/SOF related programs and capabilities with customers, partners and technology organizations via key customer meetings and position papers and presentations u00b7 Identify, qualify and develop new business opportunities and challenges applicable to LM u00b7 Guide new business pursuit and capture activities as required/requested u00b7 Participate, as requested, in strategy reviews and other capture events to lend expertise in DoW issues and, specifically, acquisition related areas u00b7 Define customer program requirements and determine/monitor the acquisition process and gain and maintain an understanding of the marketplace u00b7 Support corporate staff, business area and line of business staff, and other LM Government Affairs offices to establish and achieve domestic business objectives u00b7 Support LMGA Army/SOF activities within corporate Integrated Air and Missile Defense, Homeland Defense, Hypersonic Defense, Guam Defense, Counter-UAS, and related teams and activities. u00b7 Identify, establish and build relationships with key customer decision makers and influencers in the local commands and the Huntsville community u00b7 Facilitate, arrange and manage Huntsville-based customer interfaces related to Army Integrated Air & Missile Defense and Homeland Defense-related programs u00b7 Drive horizontal integration among the LM operating companies having an interest in the Huntsville area and the DoW in general u00b7 Travel as necessary to support LM business activities, participate in conferences, symposiums, and approved training activities u00b7 This position is primarily onsite in Huntsville, AL with limited telework Basic Qualifications: u00b7 Extensive knowledge of Army Integrated Air & Missile Defense requirements, acquisition and resourcing systems u00b7 Extensive knowledge of the Army PPBE and acquisition policies and processes u00b7 Extensive Knowledge of Air Defense Artillery and Missile Defense Systems and Operations u00b7 Minimum of 10 yearsu2019 experience with the Army u00b7 Familiarity with DoD and Army budget and acquisition policies and processes u00b7 Familiarity with Army and Joint Force Integrated Air & Missile Defense operations u00b7 Demonstrated leadership abilities required u00b7 Secret level clearance, with eligibility for TS/SCI Desired Skills: u00b7 Exceptional oral and written presentation skills and ability to address complex matters/solutions with senior executive leadership u00b7 Knowledge of Air Defense Radars and Directed Energy/Laser Weapon Systems u00b7 Knowledge of Guam Defense, Integrated Homeland Defense, and Counter-Unmanned Aerial System operations u00b7 Familiarity with and a strong professional network within the Huntsville aerospace and defense industry and local business community u00b7 Familiarity with U.S. Army Program Acquisition Executive for Fires (formerly known as the Program Executive Office, Missiles and Space and Rapid Capabilities and Critical Technologies Offices) and the U.S. Army Space & Missile Defense Command u00b7 Familiarity with U.S. Armyu2019s interface with the COCOMs/Joint Staff in operational needs requirements (ONS/JUONS) u00b7 Strong individual organizational, planning and time management skills u00b7 Able to work with limited guidance and deal with ambiguity u00b7 Achieved a masteru2019s degree, in any field u00b7 Ability to work on geographically distributed teams as part of a larger organizational effort Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
