CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking anAviation Engineering Managerto join ourAviation TeaminKnoxville, TN; Atlanta, GA; or Duluth, GA, where youu2019ll provide technical leadership and strategic oversight for the planning, design, and delivery of airport infrastructure projects spanning airside, landside, and facility systems. This is your opportunity to partner closely with clients and project teams, mentor developing engineers, and play a key role in advancing innovative, resilient solutions that support the longu2011term success of airport communities. What You'll Do: + Organize, direct, and coordinate activities related to airport infrastructure projects, such as runways, taxiways, and terminals, from initial assessment through planning and design + Collaborate with aviation team leadership to manage and motivate a high-performing group of technical professionals, ensuring excellence in project delivery and achieving team utilization goals + Effectively manage project budgets, scope, and schedules to deliver successful outcomes for critical aviation initiatives + Engage with clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met and expectations are exceeded throughout each phase What You Bring: + Bacheloru2019s Degree in Civil Engineering required + Minimum of 4 years of discipline-specific engineering experience required; previous project or team management experience preferred + Professional Engineer (PE) license required + Advanced proficiency in engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.), as well as Microsoft Office + Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, business practices, and engineering laws + Demonstrated technical proficiency in aviation infrastructure and systems + Strategic thinker with the ability to guide and motivate team activity and resolve issues with urgency + An articulate and persuasive communicator, both one-on-one and in front of large groups + Experience with project budgeting preferred; basic understanding of accounting processes + Participation in professional engineering societies/organizations preferred Why You'll Love It Here: + Lead challenging infrastructure projects that support airport safety, sustainability, and operational excellence + Mentor and inspire junior engineers dedicated to delivering sustainable solutions + Collaborate with talented professionals across disciplines in a flexible work environment Curious about the impactful work our Aviation team is doing? Salary Range: $120,000 - $130,000 Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
