This positionleads client service, technical staff management, strategic planning,engineering processes and procedures, and project execution fortheDivision.Duties and Responsibilities:- Manage, mentor and lead staff within theDivision.- Deliver PECs purpose and vision to our clients and staff.- Uphold the technical reputation of the Division.- Promote services of the Division within PEC and outside to current and potential clients.- Provide workload management of team members in theDivision.- Oversee Division efficiency for production of workproduct.- Manage project risks related to technical portions ofDivision.- Develop, implement, and enforce appropriate Business Practices and Quality Procedures specifically related to the Division.- Manage Division costs to withinbudgets.- Set Division standards and deliver projects within those setstandards.- Collaborate between departments to achieve companyvision.- Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the companys discretion.Special Knowledge, skills and abilities:- Experience in managing staff memberspreferred- Accustom to collaborating with diverse engineeringdisciplines.- Understand current trends within the construction industry and specific TechnicalDiscipline.- Possess excellent oral and written communicationskills.Education and Experience:- Bachelors degree in engineering or equivalent in non-engineering Divisions (Geologist, Surveyor, or Construction/ProjectManager)- A minimum of 15 years of actual experience in the design and constructionindustry.License and Certification:- Professional license preferred/Work Environment:PEC values a healthy work-life balance, and we focus on workingefficiently and collaboratively to ensure quality and productive work aswell as quality time away from the office. Duties involved require moving materialsthat weigh up to 10 pounds on a regular basis and up to 25 pounds on anoccasional basis. Manual dexterity and coordination are required over50% of the work period while operating equipment such as computerkeyboard, mouse, calculator and similar machines.
