Description The Intelligence Sector at Leidos currently has an opening for a Senior Software Engineer in Herndon, Virginia. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience supporting the DIAu2019s SITE III JIOC mission. Key Responsibilities: u2022 The selected candidate should have experience with agile software methodology, and software engineering design best practices. The candidate will work within a cross-functional Scrum team, and will be responsible for developing software, participating in acceptance criteria development, creating scripts, and utilizing Open Source and COTS tools to automate testing, documenting instructions, and participating in integration activities. u2022 Designs, develops, documents, tests and debugs applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions. u2022 Confers with systems analysts, engineers, programmers, and others to design system and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces. u2022 Designs, develops, and modifies software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcomes and consequences of design. u2022 Coordinates software system installations and monitors equipment functioning to ensure specifications are met. u2022 Performs software engineering and development activities associated with supporting, maintaining, and enhancing software. u2022 Develops and integrates bug fixes and new feature enhancements using DIA standard development tools and processes (e.g., Eclipse, VS Code, Gitlab). REQUIRED Clearance: Active TS/SCI with polygraph, or TS with SCI eligibility and ability to obtain a polygraph Required Qualifications: u2022 A Bacheloru2019s degree in an area applicable to the position with 12+ years of relevant experience OR a Masteru2019s degree with 10+ years of relevant experience OR a PhD with 8 years of relevant experience; an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree requirement. u2022 Programming Language Experience including u2013 but not limited to u2013Java, JavaScript and Python. u2022 Experience in RHEL and ORACLE environments. u2022 AWS technologies: PostgreSQL, Oracle. u2022 Experience using modern techniques such as REST, JSON, Spring, Spring Boot, JavaScript, Ember.js frameworks. u2022 Experience with Docker, KeyCloak, Wildfly, Tomcat, ArcGIS, Fid u2022 Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
