Sr. Construction Manager- Healthcare

Weu2019re looking for an experienced Sr. Construction Manager to serve as the onsite Owneru2019s Representative for a major healthcare project in Orange County. In this role, youu2019ll work closely with the Project Manager, Program Manager, design teams, contractors, inspectors, and facility stakeholders to ensure safe, highu2011quality, and compliant execution of all construction activities.Youu2019ll lead dayu2011tou2011day field oversight from preconstruction through turnoveru2014anticipating issues, driving communication, and maintaining strong Owner representation throughout the project lifecycle.Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily construction activities to ensure full compliance with plans, specifications, permits, and regulatory requirements. Maintain strong onsite presence to track progress, resolve field issues, and support schedule and sequencing strategies. Lead site logistics planning, shutdown coordination, material deliveries, and operational impact reviews. Monitor contractor performance, manpower, workmanship, and safety. Manage RFIs, submittals, field changes, and technical clarifications. Conduct regular field walks to verify quality, testing, commissioning, and system readiness. Coordinate inspections and compliance activities with HCAI, City agencies, IORs, and other authorities. Bacheloru2019s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field or equivalent work experience. 12+ years of hands-on construction management experience delivering complex projects - healthcare, lab, research, or similarly regulated environments Experience working in occupied environments, active healthcare or research campuses, and delivering complex tenant improvement projects. Strong understanding of construction means and methods, sequencing, logistics, site controls, and safety requirements. Proven experience managing field coordination, daily oversight, quality assurance, and stakeholder communication on active construction sites.
