The Teller position is responsible for interacting withcustomers to complete transactions, resolve problems and cross-sellNicolet products and services. Promotes business for Nicolet bymaintaining a high level of customer service and by referring customersto appropriate staff where necessary. As a Teller, you will: Attract andretains customer relationships by extending a courteous greeting and byproviding accurate and timely customer service which includes, but isnot limited to, cashing checks, accepting deposits, and withdrawals,handling loan payments, dispensing cashier's checks and bonds, payingsavings withdrawals within established guidelines to ensure customersatisfaction. Organize, balances and proofs cash daily to maintainaccurate transactions processed. Identifies payees and verifiessignatures and endorsements. Stay current on applicable bankingregulations and security procedures and practices to prevent fraud orother bank losses and to comply with regulatory requirements. Answercustomer telephone inquiries and provides information in accordance withNicolet policies. Assist with night depository duties, which includeslogging bags, processing deposits, making change orders, issuingreceipts, etc. Promote Nicolet products and services by identifyingcustomer needs and suggesting appropriate products to increase customeraccount relationships. Recommends corrective services to resolvecustomer complaints. Uphold Nicolet's philosophy and policies bymaintaining appropriate controls to ensure full compliance withapplicable laws and regulations, thereby fulfilling legalresponsibilities and enhancing the quality of Nicolet.
