General Baker Workers 2nd shift

2nd Shift 3pm-11pm Monday-FridayPay:u00a0$17.50/hrSUMMARY:The primary function of a General Baker Worker is to supply raw materials and move finished products from the production line while keeping accurate counts of product produced. The GBW will work in packaging, processing or mixing as needed. Assignments may change daily.u00a0u00a0FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:u00b7 Works well with others, fostering a team atmosphere.u00b7 Maintains a clean, organized and safe work area at all times.u00b7 Comply with all GMP requirements.u00b7 Completes all necessary paperwork in a legible, accurate and timely manner.u00b7 Order and maintain sufficient packaging material quantities from the warehouse to ensure no interruptions in manufacturing.u00b7 Fully knowledgeable of product packaging specification sheets and production schedules.u00b7 Return all unused packaging materials to the warehouse after the completion of production orders which are properly secured and identified.u00b7 Prepare and attach skid tags and other related documentation to finished product.u00b7 Transports all pallets of finished goods to the warehouse.u00b7 Maintain correct date codes on tape machines as required by product specifications.u00b7 Catch, box andu00a0tag any product that goes to end dump.u00b7 Accurately weighs and reports scrap at end of shift.u00b7 Relieve other GBWs for break as needed.u00b7 Provides back-up support to various departments including scaling batches, mixing batches and operating processing and packaging equipment.u00b7 Trained to use applicable classes of Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) and must maintain valid certification.u00b7 Able to properly submit work orders as needed.u00b7 Assist or oversee the training of new employees.u00b7 Assist with changeovers, machine setup and cleaning.u00b7 Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations.u00b7 Ability to read and record written instructions from packaging specification and formula sheets.u00b7 Perform SPC (computer) data entry according to established process control procedures and product specifications.u00b7 Perform all appropriate Quality and Food Safety testing and documentation as required.u00b7 Ability to work independently.u00b7 Notify Supervision of any issues.u00b7 Must adhere/comply with all Company policies, procedures and practices.u00b7 Must be able to operate the grinder and accompanying equipment safely and at expected paceu00b7 Must be able to use scanners for lot numbers and understand the importance of lot trackingu00b7 All other duties as assigned.
