Inside Sales/Labor Estimator

STABLE FULL-TIME WORK EXPECTED THROUGH THE 2026 CALENDAR YEAR AND BEYOND!Shift: DayPay: $21.00 to $24.00 per hour DOE.Purpose of the Position: Providing technical estimates based on bid documents and drawings. Provide initial customer contact in person or by phone for the purpose of quoting, negotiating, and writing orders.Major Duties:Assist in compiling Labor Estimates for reinforcing steel installation for construction projects.Update Bid Tracking software and download bid documents from websites.Solicit and coordinate quotes from outside vendors and suppliers.Provide follow up on bids, record/maintain/update bid logs.Preparation and Job Setup for Vendors, Administration, Detailer and Foreman.Develop and follow bid pricing strategies as directed.Prepare purchase orders for miscellaneous items required by the field.Update/Maintain field production logs as required.Qualifications: GED or high school diploma required. Some College highly preferred. Previous construction and sales preferred. Computer skills and ability to learn programs related to construction trade required. Should be experienced in the construction market and blueprint reading with strong mathematical skills.As a condition of employment, all applicants are required to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check that must be completed, post offer of employment.
