The successful candidate will develop and sustain machining processes utilizing cutting-edge machine tools such as Swiss Style Lathes, Single and Multi-Turret Lathes, and 3 to 5 axis Milling centers. Machinist (Day) Responsibilities: * Work closely with R&D on microwave applications, influence designs for mechanical components and assemblies, ensure design for manufacturability, facilitate release, and support production. * Interface with Engineering, Maintenance, and Management as well as production/NPI Schedulers. Machinist Qualifications: * An associate's Degree or Journeyman Machinist certification is a plus. * Must have the willingness to learn. * Strong teamwork, positive attitude, dedication, and job flexibility. * Experience with any/all of the following is desired: * 3 to 5 axis Milling * Swiss Style Lathes * Mill/Turn Machine Center * Advanced Metrology * CNC Programming/CAM Programming Software * CAD/Solid Modeling * Tool Grinding * Interpreting specifications, including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) Shift: * Day Shift - 6 am - 2:30 pm.
