This role plays a key part in preparing meals for 700+ individuals daily, supporting both patient care and hospital operations. If you excel in high-volume cooking and thrive in a fast-paced setting, this is an excellent opportunity.About the RoleThis is a back-of-house position focused on large-scale meal preparation. You will work in a busy hospital kitchen environment where accuracy, teamwork, and consistency are essential. Candidates must be able to manage high-batch cooking demands while maintaining strict safety and sanitation standards.ResponsibilitiesPrepare large-batch meals for patients, staff, and visitorsWork exclusively in the back of houseFollow recipes and meal tickets accuratelyAdhere to all health, safety, and sanitation protocolsMaintain open availability for 8-hour shifts between 5:30AM and 9PMParticipate in rotating weekend shifts, in addition to Monday-Friday schedulingEssential SkillsMinimum of 2 years of experience in large-scale or commercial cookingAbility to read and interpret recipes and meal ticketsEffective verbal and written communication in EnglishPreferred QualificationsExperience in healthcare kitchens, high-end restaurants, hotels, or schoolsStrong multitasking skills and comfort working in high-demand environmentsWhy Work Here?This position allows you to be part of a crucial team that supports the daily operation of a hospital.
