Accommodations Janitorial & Groundskeeper Team Member

Six Flags Darien Lake is seeking energetic, reliable, and team-oriented individuals to join our Janitorial & Groundskeeping team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our guests. Team Members will help ensure the park, resort accommodations, and surrounding grounds meet the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.Janitorial Duties:Clean and sanitize restrooms, guest areas, lodging accommodations, and common spacesEmpty trash and recycling receptacles throughout the park and resortSweep, mop, vacuum, and dust assigned areasRestock supplies (paper products, soap, toiletries, etc.)Respond promptly to spills and guest service callsFollow all safety and sanitation guidelinesGroundskeeping Duties:Maintain landscaping, lawns, flower beds, and walkwaysPick up litter and debris throughout park groundsOperate basic landscaping equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers)Assist with seasonal planting and general outdoor upkeepSupport park beautification and special event preparationQualifications:Must be at least 18 years of ageAbility to work outdoors in various weather conditionsAbility to stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry up to 50 lbsStrong attention to detail and cleanlinessPositive attitude and strong teamwork skillsFlexible availability, including weekends, evenings, and holidaysPreferred Skills:Prior custodial, housekeeping, or landscaping experienceExperience operating basic maintenance or landscaping equipmentCustomer service experience in a hospitality or theme park settingWhy Join Six Flags Darien Lake?Competitive payFlexible schedulingFree park admission and employee perksOpportunities for growth and advancementFun, team-oriented work environment
