We welcome candidates who can contribute to the excellence of our academic community.Reporting to the Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs, the Senior Program Coordinator plays a critical role in planning, executing, and managing high-level faculty programs and strategic initiatives. Working collaboratively with Associate Vice Provosts and the Office of the Provost’s Events Team, this position oversees the operational, logistical, and strategic components of faculty programs, leadership development initiatives, and special events that support faculty success and institutional priorities.This role is programmatic and strategic in nature and is not an administrative support position.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESProgram Planning and ExecutionPlan, design, and execute faculty-focused programs and signature events, including:New Faculty Orientation and ReceptionNewly Promoted and Tenured Faculty ReceptionCelebration of Faculty EminenceAcademic Leadership ProgramNew Department Chairs Orientation ProgramTenure and Promotion WorkshopsTPAC Information SessionsFaculty Fireside Chat SeriesCouncil of Associate Dean Administrators TrainingAcademic Data Reporting initiativesOther faculty-related lectures, programs, and special eventsDirect the strategic planning and operational execution of Faculty Affairs programs, ensuring alignment with institutional goals and best practices.Serve as the primary coordinator for selected strategic initiatives within the Office of Faculty Affairs and, when applicable, the Office of the Provost (e.g., COACHE, FACET).Program Management and OperationsDevelop work plans, timelines, and operational objectives to achieve program goals; monitor progress and assess outcomes.Manage all event and program logistics, including communications, scheduling, mailing lists, RSVPs, nametags, and on-site coordination.Research and analyze factors that impact program effectiveness and success; document program requirements to support strategic planning efforts.Assist in the development and coordination of conferences, conventions, and faculty-related meetings.Tenure and Promotion Advisory Committee (TPAC) and Board of Trustees Meetings and Related MaterialsDevelop the TPAC meeting schedule each academic year.Upload meeting materials for TPAC review.Archiving and maintaining TPAC foldersManage faculty actions databaseCommunications and Content DevelopmentCreate and coordinate promotional materials, invitations, and program communications.Gather information and develop written content for reports, briefings, newsletters, grants, and other program-related materials.Maintain and update written content on the Office of Faculty Affairs website.Financial and Data ManagementManage program and project budgets in collaboration with the Provost’s finance team.Monitor expenditures, participate in budget planning, and prepare financial and operational reports as needed.Conduct research, analyze data, and summarize trends related to faculty programs and initiatives.Prepare or assist in developing statistical and operational reports.May assist in identifying funding opportunities and supporting fundraising strategies.Collaboration, Supervision, and RepresentationSupervise, coordinate, and mentor cross-functional contributors (including writers, photographers, and administrative staff) to ensure high-quality program delivery.Conduct trainings, represent Faculty Affairs programs at meetings and conferences, and cultivate relationships with internal and external partners.Perform additional related responsibilities as assigned.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A bachelor's degree in a field related to specified program areas and five years related program management experience, or an equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.NOTE: This role will be granted the opportunity to work from home regularly but must be able to commute to Emory University on a flexible weekly schedule based upon business needs. Schedule is based on agreed upon guidelines of department. This role requires residency in the state of GA.
