Job Description

The HR Assistant will perform administrative tasks and services as assigned by the Sr. HR Generalist. This position reviews confidential data from employee records in multiple Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS). Davis Family YMCA, Cameron Family YMCA, Magdalena Ecke Family YMCA, Joe and Mary Mottino Family YMCAThis position will require travel to Overnight Camp locations in Julian, Camp Marston and Imperial Beach, Camp SurfSupports Human Capital Management integration project workSupports Ulti Kronos Group - Ready secondary rate audit and data clean-up project workCollaborates with subject matter experts and committees on assigned projectsReview various confidential documents and updates the HRIS system accordingly Provides clerical support to the HR department as assignedCommunicates with leaders to identify cost center accuracy and activity Supports with auditing processes to ensure accuracy of data Supports Sr. HR Generalist with various HR projects as assignedMust have strong attention to detail skills and ability to manage multiple, competing deadlines simultaneously Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (emphasis on Excel, Word, and Outlook)Maintain the confidentiality of all employee informationMust be well organized and detail orientedAble to work independentlyAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and work with confidential data professionallyDemonstrate initiative, resourcefulness, and problem-solving skillsOther duties as assigned Highschool/GED required2+ years’ experience of administrative and data entry experienceLicensing, state law and our government funders require that staff within YMCA of San Diego County be fingerprinted, prior to reporting to work, and includesubsequentarrest notificationsCPR/AED, and First Aid Certification, must include Adult and Child/Infant, obtained within30 daysofhireand must be from one of the following certifying organizations:American Red CrossAmerican Heart AssociationAmerican Safety & Health InstituteYMCA will consider qualified applicants with a criminal history pursuant to the San Diego County Fair Chance Ordinance and the California Fair Chance Act.
