We care about our team member well-being and offer benefits that complement and support your work/life balance.As our Sterile Processing Professional, you will be a critical guardian of patient safety, ensuring surgical teams receive correct, fully functional, and sterile instrumentation.Every day, you will expertly perform decontamination, prep and pack, sterilization, and dispatch with efficiency, expertise, and accuracy, delivering instruments with resourcefulness, determination, courtesy, and professionalism. You will continuously expand your knowledge of standards and procedures for surgical instrumentation.To be successful in this role, you will possess exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a rigorous commitment to infection control, ensuring optimal surgical outcomes with a professional demeanor.Monitor and operate sterilization equipmentExamine supplies meticulously to ensure they are properly cleaned and sanitizedTest and report any issues or problems with the sterilization equipmentSterilize, prepare, wrap and organize equipment into instrument trays for use during medical proceduresPrepare and deliver all necessary equipment and instruments for surgeries, examinations, medical procedures and medical cartsMaintain records of sterilization procedures, sterilized items, equipment maintenance and suppliesRequiredHigh School Graduate general studies, upon hire orHigh School GED general studies, upon hire orOther Metropolitan test or equivalent, upon hireCertified and Registered Central Service Technician, upon hire orCertified Sterile Processing and Dist Supervisor, upon hire orCertified Sterile Processing and Dist Tech, upon hire orCert Sterile Processing Dist Tech, upon hire
