Collaboratively work with nurse leaders in maintaining productivity, supporting initiatives, and ensuring units/departments are appropriately staffed.Assist in identifying staff development needs with an emphasis on evidence-based practice and education.Daily productivity and expense management and support unit/department manager with budget preparation.Focus on patient safety, patient experience, and performance improvement in alignment with unit/department goals.Encourage employee participation in decision through shared governance and support change management.Support professional development to improve employee retention.In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified Assistant Nurse Manager candidates will need the following:2 years clinical RN experience6 months - 1 year clinical leadership experience, preferredA degree in nursing (BSN or MSN)Current RN License to practice in state of employmentLife Support Certifications per Department Standards; e.g. NRP, EFM, TNCC, etc.Nursing Specialty Certification:Required to sit for certification within 6 months of hire/transfer Must achieve certification within 2 years of hire/transfer into this rolePhysical Requirements -Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)
