HOUSEKEEPER - CARMEL VALLEY ESTATEPRIMARY PURPOSE AND FUNCTIONUnder the direction of the Bay Area House Manager and working closely with the Ranch Director, responsible for cleanliness and upkeep of the residence and other buildings on the property.Maintain day-to-day cleanliness and overall upkeep of the residence and buildings on the ranch property, as directed by the House Manager and the Ranch DirectorPerform hands-on housekeeping duties, including:Dusting, vacuuming, and general floor careBathroom cleaning and sanitationLaundry services, including care of fine linens and coordination of dry cleaningSort clothing and linen, iron, fold, and distribute clean laundryMake and maintain beds with clean linens and fresh bedding as neededEnsure the residence is consistently maintained in a “Guest Ready” conditionAssist at parties and events at the PropertyShop for household supplies, office supplies, groceries, and occasional personal items as neededManage proactive inventory control of household items, including:Cleaning suppliesGlassware, furniture, and décorBed linens, table linens, and other household textilesCreate and execute daily, weekly, monthly, and seasonal task listsObserve maintenance issues outside the scope of housekeeping and assist with maintaining a property maintenance request logCommunicate clearly and professionally with the House Manager and the Ranch Director via phone, text, and email regarding schedules, absences, emergencies, or questionsUse basic technology, including email, texting, and computer-based tasksMaintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all timesSKILLS AND WORK HABITS / QUALIFICATIONSExperience working in large, multi-staffed homesExperience with smart home systems and appliancesMust be professional in appearance and demeanor required at all timesMust be willing to work on weekends or holidays, as needed; however, work schedule is typically Monday to FridayBe prompt and on time to all meetings, scheduled work and all timelines established by the House Manager and the Ranch DirectorOrganized, efficient, punctual, reliable, proactive, self-starterPersonable and able to work with various individuals effectivelyFlexibility, integrity and creative problem-solving skillsMust have and express a positive approach to problems and situations that may ariseAuthorized to work legally in the US and be willing to undergo an in-depth background investigationPHYSICAL DEMANDS AND REQUIREMENTSPHYSICAL DEMANDS AND REQUIREMENTSAble for full-time active work in and around the residence and groundsAble to reach, bend, stoop, lift, carry, move typical household items, e.g., full laundry basketAble to use stairways, household ladder, or step stoolAble to operate household laundry equipment, cleaning equipment, kitchen appliancesAble to use standard computer, telephone and related equipment for communication and recordkeepingAble to provide limited on-call availability and responsiveness during non-business hoursAble to travel without personal assistancePossess valid unrestricted driver’s license, adequate vehicle insurance coverage, and vehicle for use in performing job duties and travel among the PropertiesMay be expected to perform occasional work and responsibilities at other PropertiesCOMPENSATION:$50+ per hour | DOEMedical/Dental/Vision: for employee + ALL dependents Short-term disability coverageLong-term disability coverageGroup term life insurance401K with 6% employer match Employee Assistance ProgramHealth Advocacy ProgramFlexible PTO Policy10 paid sick daysDiscretionary bonusAccess to TriNet Marketplace$100 monthly phone allowance
