Machine Operator

Job Title: Machine Operator Job Description As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating the dry machine, preparing and weighing raw materials, and ensuring the smooth operation of the drying process. Your role will include monitoring the machine status, scraping powder residue, loading powder, sealing and loading drums onto pallets, and conducting quality checks. You will also be responsible for wrapping pallets and moving them to storage, completing necessary documentation, and maintaining cleanliness of the machinery and work area. Responsibilities + Operate and monitor dry machine, ensuring proper function and efficiency. + Prepare and weigh raw materials for the drying process. + Check machine operation status, including vibration and amperage. + Scrape powder residue from the machine and load powder into drums. + Seal and load drums onto pallets, handling up to four lots per day. + Conduct Limit of Detection (LOD) measurements. + Wrap pallets and move them to storage. + Complete documentation accurately. + Perform routine quality checks to ensure product meets specifications. + Clean machinery, equipment, drums, and floors. + Monitor machine cycle time and performance. + Use gauges, weight scales, and calipers to collect product specifications. + Accurately read and follow process procedures and protocols. + Record data accurately. Essential Skills + Experience with machine operation and batching processes. + Knowledge of GMP and SOP documentation. + Ability to set up, tear down, and perform light maintenance on machines. + Ability to use gauges, weight scales, and calipers. + Capability to read, comprehend, and write simple instructions. + Mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, and division. + Experience with lifting (50 lbs.+ requires two persons or under 50 lbs. according to ability). Additional Skills & Qualifications + Computer skills. + Forklift operation experience. + Production environment experience. + Cleanroom protocol knowledge. Why Work Here?
