Job Title: Construction Project Manager Job Description + We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee a substantial 250,000-square-foot project valued at $75 million, estimated to last 14-16 months. + This role requires travel and offers a per diem for housing and meals, along with a project differential payout to accommodate travel needs. Responsibilities + Lead projects from preconstruction through closeout and turnover. + Manage schedules, budgets, forecasts, and cost controls. + Administer contracts and procurement; oversee RFIs, submittals, changes, and claims. + Coordinate with Superintendents on sequencing, logistics, constraints, and quality. + Champion jobsite safety and ensure OSHA compliance. + Lead owner/OAC meetings and maintain clear client communication and reporting. + Identify, mitigate, and escalate project risks. + Manage subcontractor performance, progress tracking, and pay applications. + Maintain accurate, audit-ready project documentation. + Drive QA/QC, punch-list completion, commissioning, and warranty closeout. + Mentor and develop project staff; promote continuous improvement. + Support estimating and preconstruction with constructability reviews and buyout. Essential Skills + Bacheloru2019s degree in Construction Management, Civil/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent experience. + 5u20137+ years of progressive construction project management experience delivering commercial/industrial projects. + Demonstrated ability to manage budget, schedule, quality, safety, and multi-trade coordination. + Proficiency with scheduling tools such as MS Project or Primavera. + Proficiency in Excel for financial tracking and document control workflows including RFIs, submittals, and change orders. + Experience with Procore Construction Management Software. + OSHA-30 certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire). + Ability to travel to job sites in Upstate NY. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with site development. + Ability to manage change orders effectively. Work Environment + This is a traveling role requiring the candidate to start at the project site in New York and subsequently move to different projects across upstate and central New York. + The role involves a rotation schedule of Superintendents and additional safety staff, ensuring a dynamic and collaborative work environment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Schoharie, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $57.00/hr.
