No County Albany Street Address Empire State Plaza City Albany State NY Zip Code 12242 Duties Description u2022 Installation, maintenance and repair of a variety of locksets and mechanical keypad lock mechanisms.u2022 Pinning of cylinders, key cutting and maintenance of key control records. u2022 Installation and repair of door hardware. u2022 Locksmiths may supervise one or more subordinate maintenance assistants or helpers.Operational Needs:u2022 Selected candidate must be eligible for membership in the Associated Locksmiths of America or an equivalent organization.u2022 Employee will need to be bonded.u2022 Strong knowledge of BEST Removable Core Master Key Systems. u2022 Possess and maintain a valid, unrestricted New York State motor vehicle operatoru2019s license. Minimum Qualifications Four years of full-time experience in locksmithing under a skilled tradesperson which would provide training equivalent to that given in a training, apprenticeship, or an equivalent program; OR an equivalent combination of experience and training gained by completion of technical courses in locksmithing at a school, institute, or branch of the Armed Services.
