We partner with our Nurses at HCA Florida Aventura Hospital Job Summary and Qualifications The Coordinator Magnet Programu00ae is responsible for developing, implementing, maintaining, monitoring and overseeing the overall Magnet Recognition Programu00ae and the Magnet designation/re-designation process and related programs. This position works closely with leadership and staff in executing the Magnet Recognition Programu00ae initiatives. Is responsible for submitting applications, interim monitoring reports, and Magnet documents (initial and re-designation) based on the Magnet criteria. Develops and implements organizational strategies and infrastructure to support clinical quality, operational effectiveness, and shared leadership, which are all essential to the Magnet Programu00ae. Acts as a liaison with all departments within the organization to promote nursing excellence and to further the Magnet philosophy. The Magnet Program reports to the Chief Nursing Officer and has a dotted line to the Administrative Coordinator of Clinical Education and Professional Practice. What qualifications you will need: + Current Florida license as Registered Nurse or Recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements, including/not limited to ongoing eligibility and duration provisions) + Bachelors Degree from an accredited School of Nursing + Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date + (RN) Registered Nurse Benefits HCA Florida Aventura Hospital, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
