UKG Implementation Consultant

Description Robert Half Management Resources is currently looking for an experienced UKG implementation consultant or power user to support a client engagement in Columbus, OH. The client has recently implemented UKG, but is now looking for a subject matter expert, UKG payroll consultant, or UKG power user to assist with optimizing configurations and payroll business operations in the new system. This resource will help with ensuring payroll transaction post to the appropriate general ledger account, build out payroll reports and dashboards for management, and implement any other payroll best practices. This role is expected to last a few months and can be done mostly remotely. Preference will be given to a resource local to Columbus, OH who could work a hybrid schedule, but client is open to 100% remote for a strong skillset match. Responsibilities: u2022 Configure and refine UKG Pro systems to ensure payroll readiness and alignment with organizational needs. u2022 Develop and implement general ledger rule structures to support accurate financial processes. u2022 Facilitate integration between UKG Pro, Acumatica-based systems, and Oracle NetSuite, ensuring data consistency and integrity. u2022 Design automated reporting frameworks and dashboards to improve decision-making and financial transparency. u2022 Collaborate with payroll and finance teams to align reporting with accounting and operational objectives. u2022 Build tools to track key metrics, including payroll performance, labor cost optimization, and workforce productivity. u2022 Create models for budgeting and forecasting to enhance financial planning capabilities. u2022 Provide expert-level guidance on best practices for payroll workflows and general ledger integration. u2022 Partner with stakeholders to address system gaps and implement effective solutions. u2022 Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and optimize labor scheduling processes. Requirements u2022 At least 7 years of experience working with UKG Pro systems, including Pro and Dimensions modules. u2022 Proven expertise in general ledger rule configuration and payroll-to-finance integration. u2022 Strong understanding of financial systems, reporting dashboards, and data automation processes. u2022 Experience with Acumatica-based systems and Oracle NetSuite integration. u2022 Solid foundation in finance, accounting principles, and budgeting techniques. u2022 Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. u2022 Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
