Description We are looking for a skilled HR Generalist to join our team in Massillon, Ohio. This position is a Contract to permanent opportunity, offering an excellent pathway to permanent employment for the right candidate. The role focuses on managing essential human resources functions within a manufacturing environment, ensuring compliance and fostering a positive workplace culture. Responsibilities: u2022 Oversee employee relations by addressing workplace concerns and fostering effective communication. u2022 Manage HR administrative tasks, including maintaining records and ensuring accurate documentation. u2022 Facilitate onboarding processes to ensure smooth integration of new team members into the organization. u2022 Utilize HRIS systems, such as Paycor, to manage employee information and streamline HR functions. u2022 Lead recruiting efforts, including posting job openings, screening applicants, and coordinating interviews. u2022 Ensure compliance with labor laws and occupational safety standards within the workplace. u2022 Collaborate with management on strategies to enhance employee engagement and retention. u2022 Support training initiatives and development programs to promote workforce growth. u2022 Monitor and address workplace safety concerns to maintain a secure environment. u2022 Assist in payroll and benefits administration to ensure employees receive accurate and timely compensation. Requirements u2022 Minimum of 3 years of experience in human resources, preferably in a manufacturing setting. u2022 Strong knowledge of employee relations and conflict resolution strategies. u2022 Proficiency in HRIS systems, with experience using Paycor being highly desirable. u2022 Familiarity with recruiting processes, including sourcing and interviewing candidates. u2022 Understanding of occupational safety regulations and compliance requirements. u2022 Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple HR tasks effectively. u2022 Strong communication abilities to interact with employees and management professionally. u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
