Youu2019ll be: + Building heats for PVD furnaces and placing inserts in predetermined fixturing according to process requirements + Performing quality inspections and quantity verifications of incoming product prior to coating + Originating and maintaining documentation to accompany product throughout the process + Visually inspecting coated carbide inserts using both unaided eye and microscope + Recording necessary information accurately and transferring inserts to the next work center + Conducting daily housekeeping of work area and passing on relevant information to oncoming shifts + Operating various equipment as needed and adhering to all safety procedures and guidelines This job might be an outstanding fit if you: + Can add, subtract, multiply, and divide, and are comfortable with basic math + Are able to read and understand defect criteria, insert identification, blueprints, routings, and operating procedures + Have the ability to use a personal computer and various software systems (such as SAP MII and QMS) + Can handle small components with care and use microscopes (30X) as required + Are committed to working safely and following all safety protocols (safety glasses, shoes, and gloves as needed) + Can lift up to 33 pounds and perform physical tasks such as sitting/standing, bending, reaching, and intermittent walking during your shift + Are able to communicate effectively with inspectors, supervisors, and team members + Are motivated to reach proficiency in your role within four weeks or less What happens next Once you apply, youu2019ll proceed to next steps if your skills and experience look like a good fit.
